The Singapore Physical Education Association conducts a bi-annual
award to recognise the outstanding contributions teachers of Physical
Education have made to the development and promotion of PE in Singapore.
It aims to inject greater interest in the subject and encourage and
motivate PE teachers to raise their level of professional practice.

Swee chong teaches at Elias Park Primary School in Singapore and is currently pursuing his Masters of Education in the University of Tasmania. He can be contacted at scang@postoffice.utas.edu.au
