The Leap Years_Last event of the year

Last Movie Night for 2008!!

Come join us for our last 2008 movie night in in romance, The Leap Years, before the exams starts!

Staring Joan Chen, Wong Li Lin, Ananda Everingham, Qi Yu Wu, Vernetta Lopez, Paula Malai Ali and Nadya Hutagalung. The Leap Years is a movie based upon the novella, Leap of Love, by Singapore Author Catherine Lim.

Singapore celebrated her birthday on the 9th of August. SSA lead a group of 31 students to Wrest Point, Hobart for this special occasion. We were really privilege to have friends from Malaysia, Australia and Europe with us on this trip. Our group walked away with 4 prizes from the lucky draw that night.

SSA Movie night for Sem 2

SSA held her first movie night for semester 2 on 08/08/08.

On behalf of the SSA committee, we would like to thank all those who had participated in this event, not forgetting our Celebrity chef "Siti", who cooked the tray of "yummilicious" pasta.

The examiner!

The multicultural festival co-organized by TUU and SSA was featured on the newspaper, "The Examiner".

The multicultural festival was organized by the TUU in conjuction with SSA on the 23rd of July. The event was a success, with the weather being in our favour on that day.

Hi all!! SSA is co-hosting the Multicultural Festival with TUU this coming Wednesday 23rd July 2008 along Queen Elizabeth Walk, Newnham Campus. Do join us from 2-7pm and stand to win prizes for best dressed traditional costume.
